Digital printing process categories with different dyes

Digital printing using digital technology. All kinds of digital patterns processed by scanning, digital phase plane, image or computer are input into the calculation, and then processed by the computer color separation printing system. There is a special RIP software that directly sprays all kinds of special printing dyes (reactive, dispersive, and selective ink coating) between its printing systems onto various fabrics or other media, and then it is processed.
Digital printing process can be divided into the following categories:
Classification by printing method
Digital printing is a general term for inkjet printing technology. In order to explain various printing methods and characteristics more clearly, this paper introduces the digital printing of textile fabrics in an all-round way, various types and processes.

  1. Digital direct printing
    The digital direct jet printing method is applicable to disperse, acid dyes, coatings and reactive inks. The digital direct jet printing method is the process of directly printing on the semi-finished fabrics that have been sized. The process is: select the corresponding ink according to the textiles, design patterns, size, and then directly print at the textile direct jet printing machine, and then dry, steam, wash, dry Soft setting and other processes (the paint can be fixed as long as it is baked).
  2. Thermal transfer mode
    Thermal transfer printing is to print textile dyes on paper (coated), and then transfer the patterns on paper to textiles by thermal transfer printing machine. The advantage is that the precision is relatively high, but the printing efficiency is low. It can only be made of fabrics with high polyester or polyester content. The transfer fabric is processed by semi-finished products and has not been added with softener (the added softener may affect the color rate).
  3. Cold transfer mode
    Like heat transfer printing, it is necessary to print textile dyes on paper first, and then press the paper and fabric with special machinery to realize pattern transfer.
    There are two ways to treat the embossed fabric:
    First, traditional processes such as steaming, washing and shaping are carried out;
    The second is to fix the color by cold heap chemical reaction (the fabric needs chemical treatment in advance). This process is applicable to all fabrics except blended fabrics using reactive, disperse, acid and other dye inks.
